But if there’s one thing Lia knows better than figure skating, it’s hockey. Hoping to take his ego down a notch—or seven—she logs into his team website under an anonymous name to give him pointers on his less-than-stellar playing.

Turns out, Pierce isn’t arrogant at all. And they have a lot in common. Too bad he’s falling for the anonymous girl online. No matter how much fun they’re starting to have in real life, she’s afraid he’s going to choose fake-Lia over the real one…

Disclaimer: This book contains a swoony hockey player (and his equally swoony friends!), one-too-many social media accounts, kisses that’ll melt ice, and a secret identity that might not be so secret after all…

Hands Up ~ Who doesn’t love a story about a figure skater and a hockey player?

All Laced Up had all the makings for a perfect Young Adults Romance. The popular guy at school, awkward teenage girl, some serious issues and obviously romance!

Lia Bailey is an upcoming figure skater if only she let go and reach for her dreams. After the death of her father she never wanted to wear her skates again.

Pierce Miller is the next IT ice hockey player who’s going through a FUNKIce hockey is everything to him, without it he’d be lost.

Erin Fletcher has a beautiful way of entertaining you with this adorable read! All Laced Up covers some serious issues in a realistic way. The only thing I would have liked is for the story to develop more. There was a lot going on but to be fair that’s understandable for the first book of a new series.

I can’t wait for the next installment

Score: 5/5
