by Rachel Harris

Version: ebook | Publication: September 11th 2012 | Publisher: Entangled Publishing, LLC @entangledpub

On the precipice of her sixteenth birthday, the last thing lone wolf Cat Crawford wants is an extravagant gala thrown by her bubbly stepmother and well-meaning father. So even though Cat knows the family’s trip to Florence, Italy, is a peace offering, she embraces the magical city and all it offers. But when her curiosity leads her to an unusual gypsy tent, she exits . . . right into Renaissance Firenze.

Thrust into the sixteenth century armed with only a backpack full of contraband future items, Cat joins up with her ancestors, the sweet Alessandra and protective Cipriano, and soon falls for the gorgeous aspiring artist Lorenzo. But when the much-older Niccolo starts sniffing around, Cat realizes that an unwanted birthday party is nothing compared to an unwanted suitor full of creeptastic amore. Can she find her way back to modern times before her Italian adventure turns into an Italian forever?

“A fun, romantic romp…a totally fun and totally satisfying read.”
Lisa T. Bergren, author of the River of Time Series
“Fresh and funny, Harris’s detail-rich writing makes for a truly charming debut novel.”
Holly Schindler, author of Playing Hurt

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Harris writes humorous love stories about sassy girls-next-door and the hot guys that make them swoon. Vibrant settings, witty banter, and strong relationships are a staple in each of her books…and kissing. Lots of kissing.

An admitted bookaholic and homeschool mom, she gets through each day by laughing at herself, hugging her kids, and watching way too much Food Network with her husband. She writes young adult, new adult, and adult romances, and LOVES talking with readers!

A cross between Quantam Leap and Cinderella.

Plot twisting story that starts out with the normal teenage plot.

Abandoned by her mother raised by her father. It’s been the two of them forever when her father meets someone and decides to remarry.

Very Cinderella-esk.

Her stepmother wants to host her a sweet sixteenth party as she loves to host parties, as a bribe her father takes them to Florence, Italy and here is where the story becomes interesting.

Time travel!

Yep. you’ve got it one minutes she’s in the present day the next she’s not. I won’t say too much about what happens next but if you’re looking for an enjoyable and delightfully entertaining read then this is for you.

I’ve scored it..
